I’d like to make myself believe that planet Earth turns slowly.

Hm, well, looks like my blog has been abandoned. It had a good run, didn’t it? (Compared to my previous ones, anyway.)
Life has gone as life should; with ups and downs and twists and turns and luckily, there was no vomiting.
I’ve been trying to read more to expand my knowledge and to gain the upper hand when it comes to school. I already watched Bladerunner and I just started reading Frankenstein — two of the texts that will be analysed in Year 12. I still have yet to complete my DT assignment and I must choose two majors in a month’s time.
And it’s almost over. Year 11 has come to an end and it will be 2010 before we catch up to ourselves.
My goals first and foremost are to ensure that I get the best possible marks in the UAI. I’m also aiming to get a scholarship so that it is a little easier to pay for university. That is, if I get in. No, no, no — when I get in. A positive attitude helps, right?
I also need to apply for Youth Allowance, and/or get another job. I’m running low on money, and I dislike having to use my parent’s. If I have a steady income, I can spend without having to be overly cautious with where I spend it. Although, I am frugal, anyhow. I really want a BJD — actually, I have my mind set on two or three, at the present moment in time. I want part-time work, but I’d prefer not to work in fast food. I might try for some Christmas work just to earn a little before finding a reliable job. It’d be nice if I could save for a car so that I have something to drive when I get my P’s.
If I get a little practice.
My mother was thinking of going to Ikea, and that way I could drive. I discovered that the ute can be driven out of the garage, now. I don’t know whether she is better or not, but if she is, I’m going to be hassling her. I can get my P’s in six months and I’d like to. That way I can drive myself to wherever whenever and not have to bother them!
